JOB OPENING
Richfield City is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Golf Course Manager at Cove View Golf Course. This position assists with the day-to-day operation of the golf course, including tracking golf play, supervising clubhouse and snack bar staff, assisting with tournaments and special events, customer service, cash handling, and other operational responsibilities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent.
• Management or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of golf course operations and golf terminology is preferred.
• Must be highly motivated, customer-service oriented, and have excellent public relations skills.
• Ability to supervise and work effectively with employees.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow general work instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Computer proficiency, including spreadsheet and word-processing programs.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash handling procedures, and internal controls is preferred.
• Must obtain a valid Utah driver’s license within 60 days of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
Work Schedule:
Hours will vary based on golf course operations and seasonal needs. Weekend and holiday work will be required.
Salary Range: $21–$24 per hour.
