PUBLIC NOTICE

A Petition for annexation has been filed in the office of the Richfield City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of a parcel of land belonging to Lance and Mandy Larsen and Justin and Jamie Jepson located at approximately 2300 South 1600 West, more specifically described as follows:

Lance and Mandy Larsen BEGINNING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 59 OF THE NORTH BY NORTHEAST SUBDIVISION PHASE 4, SAID POINT BEING LOCATED NOO°16’03″W 1,324.20 FEET ALONG THE SECTION LINE AND S89°43’57″W 2110.10 FEET, MORE OR LESS, FROM THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 23 SOUTH, RANGE 3 WEST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN AND RUNNING THENCE S89°33’05″W 116.67 FEET, MORE OR LESS, ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 59 TO THE EAST SIDE OF THE SEVIER VALLEY CANAL; THENCE N29°34’49″E 196.70 FEET; THENCE EAST 125.74 FEET; THENCE S00°26’55”E 129.31 FEET; THENCE S89°33’05”W 107.50 FEET; THENCE S00°26’55”E 40.00 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE NORTHEASTCORNER OF SAID LOT 59 AND THE POINT F BEGINNING.

Justin and Jamie Jepson BEGINNING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 59 OF THE NORTH BY NORTHEAST SUBDIVISION PHASE 4, SAID POINT BEING LOCATED NOO°I6’03″W T324.20 FEET ALONG THE SECTION LINE AND S89°43’57”W 2110.10 FEET, MORE OR LESS, FROM THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 23 SOUTH, RANGE 3 WEST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN AND RUNNING THENCE NOO°26’55″W 40 FEET; THENCE N89°33’05”E 107.50 FEET; THENCE SOO°26’55”,W 40 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 60 OF SAID NORTH BY NORTHEAST SUBDTVISTON; THENCE S89°33’05”W 107.50 FEET, MORE OR LESS, ALONC THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 60 TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

Notice of certification was received by the Richfield City Council on August 19, 2025. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Richfield City Recorder.

Richfield City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation is filed with the Boundary Commission at 250 North Main, Richfield, Utah 84701, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Richfield City Recorder by September 20, 2025. A protest to the annexation petition may be filed by the legislative body or the governing board of an affected entity, an owner of rural real property, or an owner of private real property located in a mining protection area.
