Minutes of the joint City Council and Planning Commission of Richfield City, Sevier County, Utah, meeting on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at the Richfield City Center, Richfield, Utah, commencing at 6:00 p.m. Planning Commission Chairman Josh Peterson presiding.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

Present:
Planning Commission: Josh Peterson, Lisa White, Zach Leavitt, Blaine Breinholt. Wes Kirshner and Branden Anderson were excused.
City Council: Bryan Burrows (Not voting), Brayden Gardner, Kip Hansen, Elaine Street, Kendrick Thomas, Tanner Thompson, Michele Jolley (Not voting).
Excused: Rob Jenson. - Discuss an ordinance governing the RM-11 zone – Specifically limits in size, distance between developments and open space requirements.
The Richfield City Planning Commission and the Richfield City Council discussed the options available when it comes to placing restrictions on the RM-11 Zone.
The planning commission will work on a new ordinance with a specialist hired by the city in developing some RM-11 limitations that address the city’s goals.

Planning Commissioner Lisa White motioned to adjourn the meeting. Zach Leavitt seconded the motion. The motion passed with unanimous role call vote with Lisa White, Zach Leavitt, Wayne Cowley, Blaine Breinholt and Josh Peterson voting aye.
